THEO LOWENSTEIN
Wrestling holds deep anthropological significance with roots stretching back thousands of years and across every populated landmass. It reflects the earliest forms of human competition and expression through the binary element of physical control over our fellow man. Understanding that wrestling has many facets (from belt to oil) across thousands of years and as many cultures. With this in mind we wanted to showcase this connection to previous generations across many cultures linked by a single sport. How features of each athlete have wild randomness and strong similarities. We’ll let you be the judge of the connection between the athletes.
